Starting in the 1950s after a few years of multiple business ventures, Kurt Adler found a passion for Christmas ornaments. Adler provides customers in America with beautifully handmade German ornaments. The line was expanded with glass ornaments from Czechoslovakia, hanging ceiling decorations from Germany, and miniature lights from Italy. Suddenly, America was ablaze with festive decorations that offered a European flair.

As the company grew, Adler imported more holiday decorations that their customers fell in love with. From colorful snow globes to carefully crafted ornaments, people across the world began decorating their homes with these beautiful decorations. Adler soon combined the popular fashion people were wearing onto various Christmas decorations. The designers helped create items like traditional nutcrackers and plush Christmas themed animals. His team of designers successfully transformed the Santa nutcracker into fun-loving ones with him windsurfing and skiing. A big credit goes out to the team at Kurt Adler for evolving their product line to include fiber optic trees, interactive advent calendars, musical decorations, and more.

Kurt Adler's strong presence in the marketplace features wholesale showrooms and trade shows, which are open daily in the U.S. and Canada. They also have offices in Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong. Kurt Adler's line is available at a broad range of retailers from mass merchants to fine specialty shops and everyone in-between.
