Designed to look like a traditional metal lantern, it is made with a strong plastic frame that provides a reliable foundation for the glass panes. The plastic frame will replicate the old metal material but will not rust or corrode making it easily able to withstand the elements when placed outdoors. Use the ring on the top of the lantern to hang it from any ceiling indoors or out on a front porch. This lantern uses solar power to charge a AA rechargeable battery. Simply place the lantern in a location where it will receive 6 to 8 hours of full, direct sunlight each day. Pair it with a rustic wooden crate, or place on your front steps to add a touch of charm to the exterior of your home. At night, the light will turn on automatically with the built-in light-detecting sensor.
